Entry and unloading conditions
Entry is allowed only with tractors, pickup trucks and trucks.
Small vehicles are not allowed to enter for unloading waste.
The client must register at the entrance according to operational procedures.
The load is checked by the responsible personnel before acceptance.
The use of work clothes and protective footwear is mandatory.
Persons without protective equipment are not allowed in the operational area.
All instructions of the landfill staff must be respected.
Waste is unloaded only at the place designated by the operator.
The client is responsible for any damage caused during the stay at the landfill.
Waste allowed for disposal
Only waste allowed under the legislation in force is accepted, including:
Municipal (household) waste and other waste of a similar nature or composition;
Non-hazardous industrial waste with characteristics similar to municipal waste;
Construction and demolition waste (fraction up to Ø 30 cm);
Household waste of demolished furniture and equipment (household electrical appliances, etc.);
Sludge from wastewater treatment, only if:
meet the criteria for the disposal of non-hazardous waste;
are maximally dehydrated;
contain no less than 30% dry matter.
Waste prohibited for disposal
In the landfills of the KMDK, the bringing and disposal of:
Hazardous waste;
Liquid or flowable waste;
Nuclear, toxic and radioactive waste;
Waste containing asbestos;
Pressurized gas cylinders and containers;
Self-igniting substances and first category fuels;
Explosive/explosive materials;
Substances that react violently in contact with water, increasing the temperature or releasing gases;
Infectious hospital and clinical waste from medical and veterinary institutions;
Industrial waste resulting from the treatment processes of hazardous substances.
Right of Refusal
KMDK reserves the right to refuse acceptance of any shipment that does not meet the conditions and criteria set forth in applicable legislation and the company’s operating procedures.
